  • While putting the finishing touches on my house last week, I got some decor from Papaya.  I got a few of their inexpensive Art Panel Prints and really dig them because they have touches of glitter on them that you can’t see on the site.  My favorite one is the Dream one, which looks way cooler in person!  This is definitely one of my new fave sites, and they are in Oregon too…which is pretty cool in my book.
  • Speaking of art, my all time fave artist, Alex Grey, has some new pieces including an Obama one.  My favorite will always be Theologue though.
  • This post is really old (i have been bookmarking things to blog about for way too long now), but even more relevant in this economy.  Things you should never buy new from Mint.com (a super awesome finance site).
  • Hangerbox seems like a super cool site that I would be a part of if I had more time…maybe I can post a couple of things every once in a while when I am wearing one of those outfits that everyone asks about…although 70% of my clothes are from Target, believe it or not.
  • I am seriously digging this post right now by Danielle LaPorte, one of the lovely authors of the Style Statement (which I will be blogging about soon).  This woman really speaks her truth and that speaks to me.
  • And last but not least, a while back my friend gave me the sticker pictured above and it was my most favorite thing ever (for obvious reasons).  If it’s not obvious to you, let me mention that my license plate holder says “I may live here, but my heart is in Oregon”…’nuff said.  Anyway, my mom got me another couple of these stickers recently, which led me to search for the online to get more (since i love putting stickers everywhere)…and I found the Heart in Oregon site!

Where are you from? I lived in Eagle Point, near Medford for all of elementary school. My Grandparents still live there. Also, my Great Grandmother lived in Monument, in the north eastern high desert on the John Day River. We spent a week there evry summer most of my life.

I seriously have never seen one of those Oregon bumper stickers before. I was sitting in the drive through line at Taco Bell today, ya I’m classy like that, and no joke 2 cars ahead of me there was one! I read this blog like 2 minutes before heading out.
